Attic Lifestyle is an independent editorial magazine about garden design, plants, and the art of living with nature. We publish long-form stories, garden profiles, designer interviews, and practical advice — grounded in real gardens and real horticultural knowledge.
How often do you publish?
We publish new articles weekly. Our newsletter, The Weekly Edition, goes out every Sunday morning Hong Kong time with the latest stories, seasonal planting notes, and recommendations.
Is the magazine free?
Yes. All articles on attic-lifestyle.com are free to read. The Weekly Edition newsletter is also free. We believe great garden writing should be accessible to everyone.
How do I subscribe to the newsletter?
Enter your email address in the subscription form on our homepage or at the bottom of any article. You will receive a confirmation email — click the link to confirm your subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Can I write for Attic Lifestyle?
We welcome pitches from writers, garden designers, horticulturists, and photographers. Send a brief pitch — a paragraph about your story idea and links to previous work — to hello@attic-lifestyle.com. We pay our contributors.
Can I suggest a garden to feature?
Absolutely. If you know a remarkable garden — public or private, large or small — that deserves a story, email us with a brief description and, if possible, a photograph. We cannot promise to feature every suggestion, but we read every one.
Do you accept advertising or sponsored content?
We do not publish sponsored content or affiliate-driven recommendations. We may run limited, carefully selected advertising in the future — any sponsored content will be clearly labelled as such. Our editorial independence is non-negotiable.
Can I use your photos or articles?
